It fits our sinck perfectly. It's more pricy than other colanders I found, but I think it's worth th eprice. The only improvement I can think of is to raise it higher so that it won't sit on the bottom of the sink. When I wash things in the primary sink, it's easy to splash into the colander and I have to take it out of the sink.
